The Financial Aid Office at Madison College is seeking a Financial Aid Coordinator to join the team in a Limited Term Employment (LTE) position through December of 2027. This position plays a key role in the oversight, administration and compliance of federal financial aid programs by ensuring accurate processing, reconciliation and reporting of student aid.
The Financial Aid Coordinator will be responsible for managing the import and export of ISIRs NSLDS history files and transfer monitor files. This position may also be responsible for additional duties within the Operations area that include processing of alternative loans, assisting with awarding various programs, setting up the book charge process, completing College Cost Meter processing, assisting in fraud prevention efforts or assisting with programs such as DVR, Americorp, or consortium agreements.
This role requires advanced knowledge of financial aid, analytical and organization skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Ideal candidates will demonstrate strong attention to detail, the ability to troubleshoot discrepancies, effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders and a commitment to continuously improving financial aid processes.
Schedule: This is a full-time 40-hours per week, 52-weeks per year, limited-term position through December 10, 2027. General working hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00am – 4:30pm. This position has the option to perform work remotely, with the expectation for in-office work approximately one day per month. Subject to change per Madison College policy.

- Associate degree or equivalent working experience. Experience used as an equivalent of an educational requirement is in addition to any experience required by the position.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience.
Work Experience:
