Our client is company in the Madison area looking for a Treasury Compliance Analyst to join their team. This company is looking for someone with 3+ years of treasury experience, excellent interpersonal skills and ability to manage multiple tasks. This position is hybrid.
The salary range for this position is $69k-115k.
RESPONSIBILITIES:- Oversee daily cash activity, ensuring adequate liquidity and optimizing investment and borrowing positions.
- Serve as Treasury's independent Second Line of Defense by providing oversight of treasury activities, controls, and risk management practices.
- Monitor compliance with internal treasury policies, procedures, delegated authorities, and applicable federal, state, and international regulations.
- Perform compliance reviews and control testing to evaluate the effectiveness of treasury processes and identify control gaps or emerging risks.
- Assess treasury operations for legal, regulatory, operational, financial, and strategic risks and recommend corrective actions where appropriate.
- Review treasury activities for compliance with banking agreements, debt covenants, investment policies, and liquidity management requirements.
- Support governance over cash management, banking relationships, debt administration, investments, foreign exchange, and other treasury functions.
- Monitor regulatory developments affecting treasury operations and communicate changes, impacts, and recommended actions to leadership.
- Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of treasury policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Investigate compliance exceptions, policy violations, and control deficiencies while coordinating remediation efforts with business partners.
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and risk assessments for Treasury leadership, executive management, and governance committees.
- Coordinate with Internal Audit, External Audit, Enterprise Risk Management, Legal, and regulatory agencies during audits and examinations.
- Support enterprise risk assessments and assist in identifying opportunities to strengthen Treasury's control environment.
- Maintain documentation supporting compliance monitoring, testing activities, risk assessments, and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in treasury-related projects and system implementations to ensure appropriate compliance and control considerations are incorporated.
- Promote a culture of ethics, accountability, and continuous improvement throughout Treasury operations.
The Treasury Compliance Analyst will possess the following:
EXPERIENCEREQUIRED:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or closely related field
- 3+ years of treasury or financial management experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Manage multiple tasks and accommodate change.
- Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support and services.
