Water Resources Manager Wisconsin Department of Military Affairs

Overview

The State of Wisconsin, Department of Military Affairs (DMA), is hiring an Environmental Analysis and Review Specialist
- Advanced (working title Water Resources Manager). This position is located at the Joint Force Headquarters (JFHQ) in Madison, Wisconsin.

• Manage Wisconsin Army National Guard (WIARNG) Water Resources programs.
• Develop and implement internal agency regulations and policies to gain and maintain compliance with all federal, state and local environmental regulations concerning water resources, including agency requirements under the Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA).
• Review environmental compliance audit findings relating to primary media areas resulting from ongoing internal and external audits.
• Assist recipients of audit findings to correct identified environmental deficiencies.
• Perform air compliance activities, including air permit compliance, air emissions inventory and tracking, and reporting requirements under state and federal agencies.
• Represent the Wisconsin DMA and the WIARNG on state agency and national committees dealing with environmental compliance policy issues and pollution prevention.
• Work under supervision of the WIARNG Environmental Branch Chief.
