Position Summary: Assists a Speech and Language Therapist or Audiologist in supplementing, enhancing, and extending speech/language therapy services for pupils with speech and language disorders. Assists in providing training and use of augmentative and alternative communication devices and technology.

Salary: $28.50 - $37.64 per hour in 9 annual steps. Salary placement is based on experience.
Location: Special Education Services
Hours: 7.5 hours/day; 5 days/week
Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, and Employee Life Insurance available for employees who work 4+ hours per day (Full district contribution for 6+ hours/day; 50% contribution for 4-5.99 hours/day).
Education and Experience: The position requires an Associate’s degree in speech and language pathology and supervised observation and field experience. Clinical experience is preferred.

May require a valid driver’s license. Valid registration as a Speech/Language Pathology Assistant with the California Speech/Language Pathology Board.
