The MRI Technologist is responsible for performing MRI examinations with proficiency. This is accomplished by utilizing various pulse sequences and surface coils. The MRI Technologist maintains and operates equipment in a safe and professional manner, ensures proper patient care with special emphasis on maintaining organizational values and standards of behavior.

• Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology
• ARRT MR Certification eligible – (requires becoming MR registered within 2 years of date of hire)
• CPR certification
• Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology as it relates to MRI imaging
• Knowledge of hospital PACs system and associated image/sequence organization, and anatomical direction
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task based on the situation

• ARRT MR Certification
• Minimum two years of experience
