About The Role
We are seeking a detail‑oriented Billing Specialist to support our rapidly growing customer base. This position plays a key role in resolving billing issues, generating customer quotes, assisting with payment method problems, and ensuring orders move smoothly through production. This position supports students, dentists, hygienists, and other non‑government customers.
Key Responsibilities- Investigate and resolve billing inquiries, including questions on charges, discrepancies, or potential overbilling.
- Review customer accounts to determine next steps and ensure accuracy.
- Create credits as needed based on findings from account investigations.
- Prepare and send approximately 5 customer quotes per day.
- Provide clear, well‑organized documentation to support billing questions and account reviews.
- Make 5–10 outbound calls daily to address payment method issues for orders currently in production.
- Help customers update or correct payment methods to ensure orders proceed without delay.
- Note:
This is not a collections role—conversations are friendly, solution‑oriented, and administrative. - Set up new orders in the system with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Apply existing payments and coordinate with Accounting to maintain clean, up‑to‑date account records.
- 1+ year of billing experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Hours:
9:00 AM–5:30 PM
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Madison, WI.
Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
