FTE: 1.0

Shift: M 9:00-5:30, T 6:30-3:00, W 8:00-4:30, Th 8:00-4:30, F 8:30-5:00

Compensation: $18.32+

Hours Per Week: 40

Weekends: No

We are seeking a dynamic Experience Specialist-Rehab to join our Outpatient Therapy Team. Our therapy team is also given opportunities to actively participate in team-based leadership structured groups, that ensure clinical and operational decision making is a collaborative process that promotes future growth and advancement.

Experience Specialist-Rehab (ESR’s)

ESR’s facilitate the functioning of the outpatient therapy clinics in a variety of supportive functions. Daily responsibilities are divided into A, B and C roles. RSCs will rotate between all roles, which include, but are not limited to:

  • A role:
    Administrative and clerical support – reviewing patient appointments for compliance and accuracy, working waitlists, support of other roles and front desk reception.
  • B role:
    Front desk reception, scheduling and patient registration processes. Patient navigation from point of entry to exit from clinic. Support of other roles. Perform periodic regulatory and compliance checks.
  • C role:
    Organizing, cleaning and prep of patient care areas, completing equipment maintenance requirements, and supply ordering. Support other roles.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Work within the context of patient-centered care in an outpatient clinic setting.
  • Work collaboratively with the therapy team to support exceptional patient experience and outcomes.
  • Embrace lifelong learning: willingly receive feedback and learn from team members, seek continual learning opportunities, and share feedback to promote the growth of the team.
  • Engage in staff meetings and project groups to support exceptional patient care.
  • Remain up to date with clinic operation changes and workflows (review meeting minutes, review email communications, etc.)
  • Demonstrate a willingness to be flexible and to take on additional responsibilities to support the team and process improvement initiatives within the department.

Qualifications Include
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Epic Cadence scheduling
  • One or more years of experience in a customer service role, preferably in an outpatient medical setting.
