Job Description
UW Health is seeking a Mammography Technologist for a job in Madison, Wisconsin.
Work Schedule:
100% FTE, day shift. 8‑hour shifts Monday–Friday between the hours of 7:30 AM–5:00 PM. Weekend rotations at UW Health Union Corners clinic. Primarily at UW Health 1 S. Park Street Clinic locations with rotation to additional screening sites as needed. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.
- Perform a wide variety of routine, complex and specialized procedures under the general supervision of the section Team Lead and Radiology Manager.
- Provide basic maintenance and repairs, participate in QA, and resolve issues related to image processing and the image archiving system.
- Work collaboratively with staff to prioritize and organize schedules and to triage routine and emergent procedures.
- Coordinate and actively participate in the training of other imaging technologists, fellows, residents, physicians and visiting health‑care professionals and serve as a clinical instructor for affiliated imaging training programs and assist in training other imaging technologists.
- Graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology (Required)
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (Preferred)
- Previous healthcare experience (Required)
- 2 years of clinical experience (Preferred)
- ARRT Radiography (R) Certification, upon hire (Required)
- Wisconsin Radiological License, upon hire (Required)
- ARRT Mammography (M) Certification within 30 months (Required)
- CPR Certification within 3 months (Required)
