Experience Specialist - Rehab (ESR)We are seeking a dynamic Experience Specialist to join our Outpatient Rehab Therapy Team. Our therapy team is also given opportunities to actively participate in team-based leadership structured groups that ensure clinical and operational decision making is a collaborative process that promotes future growth and advancement.
ESRs will rotate through all roles, which include, but are not limited to:
- Front desk reception and administrative/clerical support – Patient appointment scheduling, point of service payment collections, and registration processes support. Patient navigation from point of entry to exit of clinic. Perform periodic regulatory and compliance checks.
- Room reset and readiness tasks – Organizing, cleaning and prepping of patient care areas, completing equipment maintenance requirements, and supply ordering.
- Work within the context of patient‑centered care in an outpatient therapy clinic setting.
- Work collaboratively with the therapy team to support exceptional patient experience and outcomes.
- Embrace lifelong learning: willingly give and receive feedback and learn from team members, seek continual learning opportunities, and share feedback to promote the growth of the team.
- Engage in staff meetings and project groups to support exceptional patient care.
- Remain up to date with clinic operation changes and workflows (review meeting minutes, review email communications, etc.)
- Demonstrate a willingness to be flexible and to take on additional responsibilities to support the team and process improvement initiatives within the department.

Qualifications- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Epic Cadence scheduling
- One or more years of experience in a customer service role, preferably in an outpatient medical setting.
- Knowledge of general MS office systems including Outlook, Word and Excel
- Proficiency with keyboarding
- Ability to multitask with frequent interruptions
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Knowledge of insurance – obtaining benefits, submitting authorizations, etc.
- Knowledge of registration process
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Experience assisting therapists with patient care as directed – ability to bend, twist, lift, etc.
- Prior receptionist, administrative, or clerical experience preferred.
