American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with 2+ years of clinical experience and ARMRIT or ARRT (MR) certification for a night shift travel assignment at an academic health system.
Details- Work in a hospital-based MRI unit with the ability to float to an additional facility location as needed
- Travelers are the first to float and may be scheduled across multiple units or locations based on staffing needs
- Mixed schedule of 8-hour and 12-hour night shifts:
Fridays 10:45 PM–6:45 AM, Saturdays 7:00 PM–7:00 AM, Sundays 7:00 PM–7:00 AM, and Mondays 10:45 PM–6:45 AM - No call required
- Patient population includes all age groups
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical MRI experience
- ARMRIT or ARRT (MR) certification required
- Current CPR/BLS certification required (must be obtained within 3 months if not already held)
- Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology required
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the primary work site to be eligible for this position
- License required if applicable
- Perform technical imaging examinations and complex, specialized MRI procedures utilizing a wide variety of imaging equipment and systems
- Responsible for equipment maintenance, participation in QA processes, and resolving image processing and archiving issues
- Collaborate with staff to prioritize and organize schedules and triage routine and emergent procedures
- May participate in the instruction of fellows, residents, physicians, and visiting healthcare professionals, as well as clinical research activities
