Full-time, 100% FTE, day/evening/night shift. Monday – Friday between the hours of 7:00 am – 3:00 pm, rotating night and weekend on‑call responsibilities. Hours may vary based on operational needs of the department.

Job OverviewWe are seeking a Perfusionist to:
- Provide cardiopulmonary life support for high‑acuity surgical procedures utilizing cardiopulmonary bypass and ECMO.
- Support procedures in the Cath lab, Hybrid OR and Intensive Care Units.
- Assist in the design of institutional protocols and provide continuing education of staff and operating room personnel.
- Encourage and actively support the mission of the Cardiac Surgery, ECMO and Mechanical Circulatory Assist programs.

- Bachelor’s Degree and graduate of Perfusion program – required.
- Master’s Degree in related field – preferred.
- 3 years of post‑training clinical experience providing CPB for adult cardiac surgical procedures including coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), valve replacements and aortic aneurysm repairs – preferred.
- Experience in providing CPB for cardiac transplantation, ventricular assist device implantation and congenital pediatric procedures – preferred.
- Certified Clinical Perfusionist (CCP) as recognized by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion (ABCP) – within 12 months, required.
- State of Wisconsin Licensure as a Licensed Perfusionist – within 6 months, required.
- CPR certification – within 3 months, required.
- Certified Clinical Perfusionist (CCP) as recognized by ABCP – preferred.
- State of Wisconsin Licensed Perfusionist – preferred.
