Director of Hospice

Oversee our hospice care program and ensure the highest quality of care to the patients and families we serve.

• $105,000 - $125,000/base salary

• Oversee the delivery of hospice care to patients and their families, ensuring the highest quality of care in accordance with home health and hospice regulations and standards
• Ensure hospice staff levels are sufficient to meet the needs of patients and families
• Recruit, hire, orient, train and oversee hospice staff providing patient and family care
• Assist Hospice Administrator in the preparation and management of budgets and financial reports
• Evaluate patient care and ensure compliance with policies, procedures and regulatory standards
• Maintain inventory of medical supplies, equipment and medication to meet patient needs

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program and active RN or BSN license in Wisconsin
• Minimum of 2 years of hospice nursing case management.
• At least 1 year of hospice or home health experience managing caregivers
• CPR certification
• Extensive knowledge of state/federal home health and hospice laws and regulatory standards
• Excellent management, organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
