Summary

Assist in routine administrative work, filing, and projects as need in accordance to specific instructions and established work methods. Primary Responsibilities Assist in routine sorting, calculating, posting, copying, and filing. Assist in maintaining files in appropriate location. Look up information in tables, lists and reports; post information appropriately. Perform light typing/word processing as needed. Perform data entry in a variety of software systems and/or complete forms as requested.

Perform basic administrative support under the supervision of a staff member. Perform basic research experiments Support lab maintenance Assist with research-based administrative duties Participate in lab meetings, seminars, workshops etc. as needed Collaborate with other research team members Perform other duties as assigned. Other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements
  • Work requires occasionally lifting moderate weight materials, standing, or walking continuously.
Work Environment
  • Occasional exposure to dust, noise, temperature changes, or contact with water or other liquids.
  • Work is performed in an environmentally controlled environment.
Sensory Acuity
  • Ability to detect and translate speech or other communication required.
  • May occasionally require the ability to distinguish colors and perceive relative distances between objects.
