Position: We are seeking an energetic Activity Aid to join our team! You will lead individuals in meeting collective and individual needs. We are a small day center for adults with special needs (e.g., autism, blindness, seizures, cognitive challenges).

Responsibilities:

  • Help individuals develop social and emotional skills.
  • Use creative ideas including crafts, games, puzzles, outdoor, and community activities.
  • Communicate with parents and school personnel.
  • Assess skills and performance to meet developmental milestones.

  • Strong understanding of people with special needs.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation guidelines, with ability to adhere closely.
