About the Role
Direct Support Professional (DSP) / Caregiver position in Madison, WI. Assist people with intellectual or developmental disabilities and other complex medical needs by supporting daily activities, providing care, and promoting community integration.
ScheduleVariety of schedules available.
Wage$17 - $19 per hour (on weekends); $16 per hour for non‑drivers.

Working directly as a DSP / Caregiver, you will provide support in a residential group home.
Responsibilities include:
- Support and mentor individuals in daily activities, ensuring health and safety, with tasks such as meals, cleaning, housekeeping, laundry, and fun activities.
- Hands‑on mentoring to foster increased independence.
- Provide positive direction to encourage individuals to reach personal goals.
- Administer medication and monitor medical wellbeing.
No experience is required; paid training and hands‑on experience will be provided.
For those interested in a Behavioral DSP role, prior experience with intense high behaviors (verbal and physical) is preferred, as well as experience with mental health, psychiatric, or security settings.
Qualifications- Valid driver’s license (required for transportation duties)
- High school diploma or GED certificate
- Good communication skills for documenting care and collaborating with team members
- Background clearance required during onboarding
- Minimum age 18 years
- Comfortable driving company vehicles; some positions may require personal vehicle and auto‑liability insurance
- Experience with adults dealing with mental health issues, disabilities, or related settings
