LCSW, LPC, or LMFT – Full Wisconsin Licensure Required
Salary Range: $70,000–$80,000 annually

Starting salary will be determined based on relevant clinical experience, years of independent licensure, and experience working with mental health, substance use, and co-occurring disorders.

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced, fully licensed therapist to join our Outpatient Services team. This position is ideal for a clinician who enjoys working independently while also being part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary behavioral health team.

Our outpatient clinicians work with adults experiencing a wide range of mental health, substance use, and co-occurring concerns
. Clients may voluntarily seek treatment or may be involved with probation, courts, driver safety programs, or other community systems.

Because of the diversity of the individuals we serve, this role provides an opportunity to deliver meaningful clinical care across a broad range of presenting needs and levels of complexity.

What You'll Do

The Outpatient Therapist provides:

  • Individual psychotherapy
  • Comprehensive clinical assessments
  • Individualized treatment planning
  • Crisis intervention and safety assessment
  • Case coordination and collaboration with community providers
  • Ongoing progress monitoring and treatment plan reviews
  • Group and family therapy opportunities, depending on program needs and clinician interest

We are looking for a clinician who values compassionate, person-centered care while also being comfortable establishing expectations, maintaining professional boundaries, completing timely documentation, and helping clients take an active role in their treatment.

Our Clinical Approach

Our approach is individualized rather than one-size-fits-all
. Clinicians may incorporate evidence-based and evidence-informed approaches based on each client's needs and goals, including:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • Motivational Interviewing (MI)
  • Solution-Focused interventions
  • Relapse prevention strategies
  • Harm reduction
  • Other clinically appropriate therapeutic modalities
Essential Functions
  • Provide individual psychotherapy to adults with mental health, substance use, and/or co-occurring diagnoses.
  • Complete comprehensive clinical assessments and identify appropriate treatment recommendations.
  • Develop individualized, strength-based treatment plans in collaboration with clients.
  • Complete treatment plan reviews, progress notes, discharge summaries, and other required clinical documentation accurately and within established timelines.
  • Utilize evidence-based and clinically appropriate therapeutic interventions based on client presentation, readiness for change, and treatment goals.
  • Assess client safety and respond appropriately to behavioral health crises, including consultation with clinical leadership when indicated.
  • Monitor client progress and make appropriate adjustments to treatment recommendations and level of care.
  • Provide education and support related to recovery, relapse prevention, mental health symptoms, coping skills, and behavior change.
  • Coordinate care with psychiatric providers, primary care providers, referral sources, probation or legal systems, treatment programs, and community resources when clinically appropriate and authorized by the client.
  • Participate in clinical consultation, supervision, case review, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
