Medical Technologist & Lab Technician
Part-time Medical Laboratory Technician, Medical Technologist, or Medical Laboratory Scientist position offering up to $1,500 per week for an 8-week assignment near Madison, Wisconsin. The role supports laboratory operations, performing a range of testing procedures while ensuring quality and compliance. Candidates will work flexible night shifts and contribute to patient care through accurate test results.
Key Responsibilities:Provide accurate and timely laboratory testing across blood bank, microbiology, chemistry, and hematology procedures.
Maintain quality assurance and compliance with OSHA, CLIA, and hospital standards.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure seamless patient care and timely test result reporting.
Execute proper specimen collection, handling, and processing procedures, demonstrating strong phlebotomy skills.
Document all testing activities and maintain precise records to ensure traceability and regulatory compliance.
High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an approved medical laboratory technician training program.
ASCP certification.
BLS certification.
Minimum 2 years of generalist laboratory experience, including strong phlebotomy and blood bank skills.
Ability to work night shifts.
