Guest Services, Customer Service Rep
Summary
Guest Service Associate is responsible for delivering exceptional hospitality services to guests in an attentive, friendly and efficient manner. Duties include parking and retrieving guest vehicles, assisting with luggage, providing directions, and handling guest inquiries.
CompensationHourly base pay: $12–$14 per hour plus $5–$10 per hour in tips.
Work ScheduleShift times may include AM/PM schedules.

- Maintain a pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor with all guests, co‑workers, and clients; greet guests within five feet and use guest last names during interactions.
- Use proper phone etiquette and welcome guests to the location.
- Park and retrieve vehicles safely, assist guests with bell services and luggage, open all vehicle and hotel doors for guests.
- Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations, and other inquiries; provide information about facility amenities and local attractions.
- Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures, issue claim checks, maintain ticket information, calculate and collect revenue for vehicles when needed.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver’s license for the state of work or adjacent state, within commutable distance.
- At least one month of related work experience or training (or equivalent education/experience).
- Knowledge of customer service principles, 24‑hour/military time systems, parking rates, and manual transmission driving (parallel parking desirable).
- Skills:
read and write standard English; comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos; write simple correspondence; present information in one‑on‑one and small group settings; perform basic arithmetic with US currency; understand time and rate systems; operate a manual transmission and perform parallel parking.
The role follows established practices and procedures; decisions are made within specific operational instructions and departmental guidelines.
Working Conditions & Physical DemandsWork requires frequent talking and hearing; sitting or standing for extended periods; occasional running, walking, climbing stairs, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling; close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth vision; lifting up to 100 lbs occasionally, 50 lbs frequently, or 20 lbs constantly. Work is primarily outdoors, subject to extreme heat and cold; weather protection may be limited. A travel requirement of up to 5% may apply.
