Position OverviewCarex is seeking an experienced IT Talent Acquisition Consultant to provide senior-level technical recruiting support across a broad range of IT functions. This consultant will lead full-cycle recruiting efforts for complex and hard-to-fill technical roles including software engineering, cloud, cybersecurity, data, infrastructure, architecture, product, and artificial intelligence.
This role requires a highly independent, strategic recruiter who can assess both technical and behavioral competencies, build strong sourcing pipelines, and partner closely with hiring leaders and HR stakeholders to drive high-quality hiring outcomes.
Key Responsibilities Full-Cycle Technical Recruiting- Manage requisitions end-to-end, including intake meetings, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, candidate management, and offer support.
- Lead recruiting strategy for specialized and high-impact IT roles.
- Develop and execute proactive sourcing strategies for niche and hard-to-fill technical positions.
- Build and maintain strong pipelines of passive and active technical talent.
- Conduct technical screens and behavioral interviews to validate skills, competencies, and cultural alignment.
- Assess both technical expertise and behavioral competencies to ensure strong hiring decisions.
- Partner with hiring managers to design and execute structured interview processes.
- Develop interview rubrics and implement consistent feedback loops.
- Ensure hiring decisions align with business priorities, legal requirements, and internal policies.
- Collaborate closely with hiring leaders, HR Business Partners, and internal stakeholders to align recruiting strategies with workforce planning needs.
- Provide consultative guidance on market trends, talent availability, and compensation insights.
- Influence hiring decisions through data-driven recommendations and thoughtful talent evaluation.
- Maintain strong communication throughout the recruitment lifecycle to ensure transparency and alignment.
- Ensure recruiting practices comply with employment laws, equal opportunity standards, and company policies.
- Maintain accurate documentation within applicant tracking systems and recruiting tools.
- Uphold structured, consistent hiring practices that reduce bias and enhance quality of hire.
- Continuously improve recruiting workflows and candidate experience.
- 5+ years of technical recruiting experience across multiple IT domains (e.g., software engineering, cloud, cybersecurity, data, infrastructure, AI).
- Demonstrated expertise sourcing for technical and hard-to-fill roles.
- Strong ability to assess both technical and behavioral competencies.
- Experience working independently with minimal guidance in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with recruiting tools, applicant tracking systems, Linked In Recruiter, and Microsoft 365.
- Strong understanding of legal considerations and compliance in recruiting.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and consultative skills.
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale technology organizations.
- Experience recruiting in regulated industries (e.g., healthcare, financial services).
- Data-driven mindset with experience leveraging recruiting metrics to guide decisions.
- Experience supporting workforce planning or strategic hiring initiatives.
