Our team is partnering with an established organization looking to add a Human Resources Generalist to its on-site HR team. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants broad exposure to Human Resources and enjoys working directly with employees and leaders in a fast-moving environment. The Generalist will support a variety of HR activities, with an emphasis on employee support, leave administration, recruiting, onboarding, performance management, and maintaining effective day-to-day HR processes.

The

Human Resources Generalist will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
  • Serve as a day-to-day HR resource for employees and help answer questions related to policies, benefits, leaves, and other employment matters.
  • Coordinate and support FMLA and other employee leave processes, including documentation and communication with employees and leaders.
  • Assist managers with employee documentation, performance conversations, and general HR questions.
  • Participate in recruiting and hiring activities, including candidate coordination, onboarding, and new-hire support.
  • Help create a positive employee experience by building relationships and maintaining a visible, approachable HR presence.
  • Maintain employee information, documentation, and HR records with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Partner with other members of the HR team on employee relations matters and follow-up activities.
  • Support HR programs and projects related to employee engagement, development, retention, and process improvement.
  • Help ensure policies and HR practices are administered consistently throughout the organization.
  • Balance multiple employee and business needs while adjusting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborate with leaders and employees across different areas and shifts of the organization.
  • Take on additional HR responsibilities and projects as experience and knowledge continue to grow.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
  • Bachelor's degree required;
    Human Resources, Business, or a related area of study preferred.
  • 1+ years of Human Resources experience preferred
  • Previous experience supporting FMLA and employee leave administration.
  • General understanding of employment laws and Human Resources best practices.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with employees and leaders at varying levels.
  • Ability to stay organized and responsive while managing multiple priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, on-site environment.
  • Collaborative, approachable, and willing to jump in where needed.
  • Demonstrated interest in continuing to learn and grow within Human Resources.
