Payroll Specialist

Salary: $31-$36/hour + Discretionary Bonus

Key Responsibilities for the Payroll Specialist:

• Process weekly payroll for approximately 900 field employees across multiple locations and states.

• Validate and reconcile time and labor data to ensure payroll accuracy and compliance.

• Maintain employee payroll records, including tax updates, payroll changes, and payroll setup activities.

• Process payroll adjustments such as reimbursements, per diem, mileage, and other compensation items.

• Reconcile union payroll reporting and ensure compliance with collective bargaining agreements and payroll regulations.

• Respond to payroll inquiries and partner with HR, Accounting, and Operations to resolve payroll issues.

Qualifications for the Payroll Specialist:

• 2-4+ years of payroll processing experience.

• Experience with high-volume payroll

• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
