The developer will work cross-functionally with business analysts and technical teams to ensure seamless integration with current systems and processes.
The ideal candidate demonstrates technical fluency with Service Now architecture, and shows a strong understanding of secure, maintainable, and scalable development practices. Preference will be given to those with hands-on experience in Security Operations (Sec Ops) and automation integration.
- Purpose: This role plays a critical part in building enterprise-wide capabilities on the Service Now platform, enabling efficient service delivery and risk reduction across departments. By optimizing workflows and implementing automation, you’ll directly contribute to improved operational resilience and digital maturity.
- Growth: You will gain exposure to high-impact projects involving ITSM, Sec Ops, and risk management, working with a modern tech stack and a collaborative, agile team. You'll have the autonomy to introduce best practices and the support to continuously develop your expertise in both Service Now and secure enterprise systems.
Design and implement new features, modules, and enhancements within Service Now, with a strong emphasis on scalability, performance, and security. Focus on high-priority business use cases related to ITSM and Sec Ops. Ensure all solutions align with best practices, organizational goals, and governance policies, delivering production-ready features with minimal rework.

Own the development and deployment of core Sec Ops capabilities including Security Incident Response, Threat Intelligence, and Vulnerability Response. Partner with Info Sec and compliance teams to ensure business alignment. Demonstrate measurable value through reduced threat response times or improved remediation tracking.
Collaborate with architects and infrastructure teams to implement clean data flows and robust system integrations between Service Now and key enterprise applications. Validate that APIs, import sets, and mid-server configurations are functioning as intended, minimizing outages and data discrepancies.
Within the first 60 days, take ownership of configuring and maintaining Service Now modules including ITOM, IRM, and SPM. Ensure consistent updates to forms, fields, and workflows. Resolve incidents and apply patches without regression issues while ensuring compliance with internal change control.

Establish test cases and debugging procedures for all code changes. Participate in sprint reviews to demonstrate tested functionality. Reduce post-deployment defects by at least 75% over the first three release cycles.
