IT QA Tester / Automation, Systems Analyst, Cloud Computing, IT Consultant
Responsibilities
- Analyze business and technical requirements to create comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT testing for Salesforce applications.
- Validate Salesforce configurations including Workflows, Flows, Validation Rules, Process Builder, Approval Processes, and custom objects.
- Test Salesforce features such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Lightning components.
- Conduct data validation and testing of reports, dashboards, and integrations.
- Execute API and integration testing (REST/SOAP) with external systems.
- Perform end-to-end testing for Salesforce releases and enhancements.
- Log, track, and manage defects using tools like JIRA, and collaborate with development teams for resolution.
- Support release management and post-production validation.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
- Design and maintain test automation scripts using tools such as Selenium, Provar, Copado Robotic Testing, or TestNG.
- Automate regression test suites for Salesforce Lightning and Classic.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Analyze automation results and maintain test coverage metrics.
Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Salesforce QA / Testing.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture and data model.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
- Solid experience in manual testing and exposure to test automation.
- Knowledge of SOQL, data loading tools (Data Loader, Data Import Wizard).
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Proficiency with defect tracking and test management tools (JIRA, Test Rail, ALM).
- Experience in integration testing and validation of data across systems.
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Platform App Builder).
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket.
- Knowledge of Provar or Copado testing frameworks.
- Exposure to performance or security testing.
