Skillsets:
- Advanced level application development skillsets including Analysis and Development within Microsoft .Net environment.
- Coding experience in .Net framework, MVC including C#, JavaScript and Bootstrap.
- Experience applying Object Oriented Design.
- Experience applying Standard Security methods to custom applications.
- Experience in Power BI for developing reports.
- Experience creating web API’s.
- Experience developing applications with relational databases including designing, writing stored procedures, performance tuning and SQL. (Oracle preferred/SQL Server)
- Experience working Azure Dev Ops/GIT including keeping work items updated, code management and CI/CD.
Success and business needs are met.
Qualifications:- Experience following coding standards and best practices.
- Experience with testing tasks such as identifying test scenarios, test data setup, execution, and documenting test results.
- Experience utilizing the Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and following IT Best Practices
- Experience resolving technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation.
- Experience in an oncall or production support role.
- Experience following Iterative/Agile/Scrum Methodologies for completing projects from Initiation through Implementation and Maintenance.
- Experience understanding defined requirements by identifying and implementing achievable solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including describing technical items to non- technical staff.
- Experience writing technical documentation.
- Collaborates and shares information with others and is a team player to ensure project
- Awareness of IT Infrastructure.
- Awareness of Accessibility requirements and custom application design solutions or standards to comply.
- Ability to meet project timelines.
- Ability to provide input into task estimates.
- Excellent time management, organizational and planning skills.
- Ability to work independently to conduct research and review application code to apply design, coding and testing principles.
- Excellent customer service
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Experience working at DNR or in another Government agency.
- Experience working with Microsoft Suite, including SharePoint, Teams, Word, Excel, Access, etc.
- Experience with GIS, especially Esri JavaScript APIs.
