Salesforce Technical Architect - Data Cloud & Integrations
Madison, WI – onsite
12‑18 months contract
- Lead end‑to‑end Salesforce Solution architecture for complex enterprise programs, owning technical decision making across data, integration, and application layers.
- Partner closely with product owners and business stakeholders to understand requirements, propose solution options, and clearly articulate tradeoffs and recommendations.
- Design scalable architectures using out of the box capabilities, prebuilt components, and custom development based on business needs.
- Define workflow approaches by balancing configuration and development, and guide object modeling and data design.
- Architect and govern integration strategies across APIs, Data Cloud and Mule Soft, including zero‑copy integrations.
- Provide hands‑on technical leadership by contributing to development for Data Cloud components, Omni Studio implementations, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and emerging platform features.
- Support Dev Ops and release management practices and ensure high quality delivery across multiple projects.
- Overall experience of 12 to 16 years with at least the last 5 years in a Salesforce Technical Architect role.
- Strong hands‑on experience with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud, Service Cloud, Omni Studio, and Data Cloud Data 360.
- Proven experience delivering Data Cloud Data 360 solutions in the most recent two projects with a solid understanding of zero‑copy integration patterns.
- Extensive experience architecting and delivering Salesforce integrations using Mule Soft across multiple projects.
- Strong ability to translate business requirements into robust, scalable technical designs and to guide teams through complex architectural decisions.
- Salesforce certifications required include Salesforce Certified Platform Integration Architect, Salesforce Certified Platform Data Architect, Salesforce Certified System Architect, and Salesforce Certified Data Cloud Consultant.
- Has to have very strong communication, articulation capabilities.
- Experience using Copado for pipeline and release management.
- Exposure to Mule Soft certifications such as Salesforce Certified Mule Soft Integration Foundations and Salesforce Certified Mule Soft Platform Architect.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Passion for modern Salesforce capabilities and a mindset focused on performance, scalability, and long‑term platform health.
