IT Program Manager – Reinsurance Modernization
Location: Madison, WI (Hybrid – onsite a few times per week preferred)
Duration: Contract through 2027
Conversion: No (Contract only)
Preferred Candidates: Local to Madison, WI
Saige Partners is partnering with a global insurance organization to identify a highly experienced Business/IT Program Manager to support their Global Reinsurance Team
. This individual will lead large-scale modernization initiatives critical to business operations and technology advancement.
This is a high-impact role requiring a strong mix of business acumen, IT leadership, financial oversight, and stakeholder management.

The selected candidate will lead key work streams including:
- Migration of reinsurance contracts and historical data from Prosume and Data Warehouse (DWH) into Duck Creek
- Delivery of functional enhancements and adoption of a new Duck Creek platform version
- Enhancements to global reinsurance sub-systems supporting NAO data
- Integration with GL, earnings engine, and payment processing systems
- Business process improvements
- Reporting modernization
- Integration of gross policy and loss data
- Oversight of technical services work streams
This is a full-time Program Manager role responsible for driving execution across multiple cross-functional initiatives.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities- Develop and maintain detailed project/program plans
- Drive teams toward milestone delivery
- Manage risks, issues, and dependencies
- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting
- Lead vendor coordination and oversight
- Deliver executive-level communication and stakeholder updates
- Partner closely with Business, IT, and external vendors to ensure successful outcomes
Must-Haves:
- Strong Agile methodology experience
- Insurance industry experience required (P&C required; Reinsurance preferred)
- Expertise in MS Office Suite (MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Strong financial acumen (budgets, forecasting, cost-benefit analysis)
- Experience managing third-party vendors
- Demonstrated experience leading business-driven IT programs
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills across Business and IT
- Strong executive presence and communication skills (written & verbal)
- Ability to translate technical initiatives into business impact
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven
- Clear, concise communicator with polished presentation skills

Interview Process- Round 1: 45-minute virtual interview with Hiring Manager
- Final Round: 30–45-minute virtual interview with IT and/or Business stakeholders
- Interviews will be conducted via Microsoft Teams (in-person may occur for Madison-based candidates)
