our client is currently seeking a qualified field technician to join their team in the madison, wi area and provide end-user support. This technician will serve as the primary onsite contact for technical and service-related issues. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, installing, and repairing laser printers, wide-format printers, kiosks, pos systems, and related hardware / software. Collaboration with level ii or lead technicians may be required to ensure timely and accurate resolutions.

  • diagnose and resolve issues with printers, kiosks, and pos systems
  • install, configure, and maintain hardware and software
  • perform routine maintenance to optimize equipment performance
  • deliver clear technical assistance to customers onsite and over the phone
  • maintain accurate service records and uphold quality standards
skills and qualifications
  • strong knowledge of printers, computer hardware, and software
  • proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently or in a team
  • physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
wage range

the rate for this position is between $15.75 - $23.10 per hour. factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
