NOTE:
Candidate MUST be a WI resident or willing to relocate to WI prior to starting the role at their own expense. Local candidates preferred. This position is currently remote. However, position status is subject to change. Onsite work is not likely, but candidate should be prepared to come onsite if required.We can accept H1b, H4, TN and other valid work visas for IT.
However we cannot accept OPT or CPT visas at this time.
Our client is looking for a Data Warehouse Developer. The candidate will be responsible for assisting in ETL design, development, testing, maintenance, metadata, repository creation and implementation of data warehouse initiatives. Works with other IT technical teams and Business users to understand requirements and recommend & implement solutions.
Tasks
- Understand user requirements and implement solutions that ensure requirements can be achieved through high quality deliverables.
- Develop ETL mapping specifications for loading information into the data warehouse and for ensuring reliability of information loaded.
- Seek continuous improvement in performance & tuning of data warehouse and ensure security of data.
- Develop processes and procedures for entering information into data warehousing systems and for ensuring reliability of information entered.

- 4+ years - Experience in data warehousing process design and development
- 4+ years - Data warehouse - performance tuning using the Informatica data warehousing tool suite
- Developing skills in the architecture of data warehouse and data integration strategies and solutions
- 3+ years - Knowledge in relational database technologies, e.g. Oracle, DB2, SQL Server
- 4+ years - Strong data management and data analysis using SQL
- 2 years - Expertise in implementation of large, complicated models and processes
- 3 years - Experience in technical writing and documentation
- 3+ years - Develop design specifications
- 4+ years - Informatica Power Center
- 2+ years - Experience with IDMC (Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud)
- 2 years - Experience with DB2 / Cobol
- 2+ years - Knowledge of Kimball data warehouse design principals
- 3+ years - Ability to navigate and query a relational database (Oracle) to develop reports
- 3+ years - Develop Test Plans, Test Cases, and Test Procedures
- 3+ years - Identify defects
- 3+ years - Ability to develop and implement quality assurance processes and procedures including test/use cases
- Experience working with relational and dimensional data models
- Knowledge and skills in the project development life cycle process (i.e., planning, analysis, design, coding, testing, implementation, support)
- Demonstrated knowledge and skills in requirements gathering/Experience in requirements gathering for data warehouse
- Proficiency with MS Office suite, MS Visio, and MS Outlook
- 2+ years - Demonstrated experience in the design and utilization of performance measures and reports
