- Review current database Exadata architecture and create a new Exadata database architecture.
- Create a migration strategy/plan for migrating databases to new Exadata.
- Migrate databases to new Exadata and provide tuning, troubleshooting, and automation as required.
- In-depth knowledge of Oracle database performance tuning.
- Experience migrating databases to/from Exadata platform.
- Experience with Oracle releases 19.x and 26.x, RMAN, Data Guard, scripting and automation.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Oracle database performance tuning.
- Minimum 2 years of experience using multiple methods and technologies with RMAN, and Data Guard.
- Minimum 3 years of experience performing detailed, highly technical root cause analysis of Oracle database systems.
- Minimum 2 years of experience with ability to create scripts to automate processes in the Oracle database environments.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Experience in Higher Education - Highly complex environment, with diverse stakeholders.
