We are seeking a Desktop Troubleshooting Technician to support users at the DOC Central Office (COD) and at DOC facilities across Madison, WI. The role involves on‑site support, device imaging, and assistance with project and problem tickets while providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities- Perform remote and on‑site desktop troubleshooting for end users.
- Provide customer service and interact with users during device setup.
- Imaging devices as required for deployment.
- Assist field technicians at DOC facilities with project and problem tickets, traveling as needed.
- Travel to DOC facilities; mileage paid at 0.51¢ per mile and travel time compensated, or may use the company vehicle if eligible.
- Work flexible schedules: 4 ten‑hour days with Friday off, 5 eight‑hour days, or a 9‑day, 9‑hour two‑week schedule with one Friday off per week.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in desktop troubleshooting.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Experience with device imaging.
- Must be able to work independently and within a team environment.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
- Experience with AV integration.
