Job Description

Our client is seeking a Desktop Support IV. This position is fully onsite; candidates must live in Wisconsin.

• Repair and maintain desktops, laptops, and other PC devices.
• Install new PCs and laptops to replace end-of-life equipment.
• Maintain inventory and properly dispose of outdated equipment in compliance with agency recycling policies.
• Maintain and close work orders in the ticketing system.
• Provide remote troubleshooting and connect with users during device setup.
• Image devices and image hard drives as needed.
• Assist the Field Tech Manager and field technicians with project and problem tickets on a periodic basis.
• Carry up to 50 pounds and stand for up to 8 hours when required.

• Minimum of 2 years of desktop support experience.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong time‑management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to multi‑task and balance daily workload.
• Experience with AV integration is a plus.

This position offers flexible scheduling. Options include 4 ten‑hour days with Friday offs, 5 eight‑hour days, or a 9‑plus‑day two‑week schedule with one Friday off per two‑week period. Mileage is paid at $0.51 per mile for travel to facilities. Travel time is compensated on the central office days.
