SummarySeeking a Broadcom Layer7 Administrator to support, maintain, and optimize API Gateway environments in a private‑cloud infrastructure. The role involves gateway administration, troubleshooting API issues, monitoring performance, managing security certificates, and supporting production operations.
Key Responsibilities- Administer, patch, and upgrade Broadcom Layer7 API Gateway appliances.
- Troubleshoot API runtime issues using Policy Manager and implement fixes.
- Monitor gateway performance and logs using Datadog.
- Participate in on‑call support and incident response.
- Manage API policy migrations using GMU.
- Monitor Layer7 MySQL (SSG) database health and replication.
- Maintain SSL/TLS certificates, trust stores, and mTLS configurations.
- 4+ years of Broadcom Layer7 API Gateway administration experience.
- Hands‑on experience with Datadog monitoring, dashboards, and log analysis.
- Strong expertise in Layer7 Policy Manager and policy debugging.
- Proficiency with Linux CLI, tcpdump, curl, and network troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs, HTTP/S, JSON, XML, and Regex.
- Experience with MySQL/SSG database monitoring and SQL queries.
- Understanding of OAuth2, JWT, SAML, SSL/TLS, and mTLS.
- Strong problem‑solving, incident management, and RCA documentation skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with development, network, and infrastructure teams.
