This Technical Writer position will serve as a member of the Partner Support Section under the Division of Management Services. Partner Support assists in a statewide data collection program called WISE data; the data feeds other vendor systems, integrates with WISE ‑management system, and provides data used by DPIs WISE dash business‑intelligence and reporting system for public reporting. Partner Support also assists in collecting staff data through WISE staff, maintains School Directory data, hosts an annual WISE Conference, and handles DPI application security.

The position serves as the primary internal documentation technical writer and, for external‑facing documentation, works closely with another technical writer to provide documentation and training resources for WISE , WISE data, WISE staff, WISE dash, School Directory, and other applications as needed. The team provides communications, workshops, training materials, and data submission guidance to schools.

Strong verbal communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, experience with Drupal, and understanding of API Ed Fi Data Model. Ability to produce user‑facing documentation and training materials for complex technical information.
