Job TypeContract – 12 Months
Responsibilities- Provide advanced project management and leadership for complex application development projects impacting the agency and its customers.
- Lead planning, development, implementation, and ongoing management of concurrent development projects, including the CRL (Civil Rights & Labor) module of AWP (AASHTOWare Project) and other business areas.
- Collaborate closely with the team responsible for implementing AWP housed in BPD (Bureau of Project Development).
- Interpret and implement statewide strategic IT architectures, including highly complex IT systems, both internally and externally hosted, and purchased software/systems.
- Work independently under general supervision, exercising broad discretion in project execution.
- Proficiency in SQL, GIS, web-based Java applications, Oracle, Azure, and AWS cloud platforms.
- Experience with AWP (AASHTOWare Project) modules, especially the CRL module.
- Advanced knowledge of hosting web-based Java, .NET, desktop, mainframe, and GIS applications.
- Significant experience working with vendor applications hosted on cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
