Role DescriptionComputer Know How is seeking a Senior IT Support Engineer (Level 3 / Level
4) to join our team in Green County, WI. This is a full‑time, on‑site role with responsibility for advanced technical support, escalation handling, and infrastructure management across a wide range of client environments.
This role is ideal for a highly experienced technician who can independently diagnose and resolve complex issues, mentor junior staff, and contribute to the design and improvement of client systems.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as an escalation point for Level 1 and Level 2 technicians
- Diagnose and resolve advanced issues across servers, networks, and cloud platforms
- Design, implement, and maintain client IT infrastructure (on‑prem and cloud)
- Manage and troubleshoot:
- Microsoft 365 / Azure environments
- Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy
- Networking (firewalls, VPNs, VLANs, routing)
- Lead or assist with IT projects (migrations, deployments, upgrades, security improvements)
- Document solutions, procedures, and client environments
- Provide high‑level support and consulting directly to clients
- Identify opportunities to improve client performance, security, and reliability
- Mentor and guide junior technicians
- 5+ years of hands–on IT support experience (MSP experience strongly preferred)
- Advanced troubleshooting skills across:
- Windows OS (desktop & server)
- Networking concepts and hardware
- Microsoft 365 and Azure
- Strong understanding of:
- Active Directory, DNS, DHCP
- Backup solutions and disaster recovery
- Endpoint and network security best practices
- Proven ability to independently resolve complex technical issues
- Excellent communication and client‑facing skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects
- Relevant certifications such as:
- CompTIA Network+, Security+
- Microsoft (MS-102, AZ-104, etc.)
- Fortinet, Cisco, or similar
- Experience with:
- RMM/PSA tools (e.g., Super Ops, Connect Wise, etc.)
- Virtualization platforms (Hyper‑V, VMware)
- High‑impact role with autonomy and decision‑making authority
