Business Intel Architect II

Job Title

This position will work with the client Medicaid data management team, Division of Medicaid Services (DMS) leaders, and SAS Institute to ensure the use of SAS Institute business intelligence applications (EDW/DAR) enhances decision making capabilities using data analytics, dashboards, visualizations, and reports.

The Business Intelligence Architect will be responsible for addressing and resolving complex data quality issues. This position will also ensure transparent and accurate data flow by tracing data lineage and enable clear insight into the origins, movements, and transformations of Medicaid data throughout our systems. The Business Intelligence Architect will be instrumental in crafting advanced queries, generating insightful reports, and designing intuitive dashboards, thereby converting raw Medicaid data into strategic intelligence that informs policy and operations decisions.

• In-depth knowledge of SAS software, data integration, reporting and analytics.

• Experience working with data or analytics projects.
• Experience working with customers supporting data in their practice

• Advanced skills related to data analysis, reporting, and visualization.
• Experience with performing analytics while leveraging SAS tools
• Experience designing and developing dashboards
• Experience with data mapping
• Experience with data validation
• Proficient in SQL programming

• 3 to 5 years of experience performing an analyst role in one or more of the following areas:
• Data warehousing
• Data visualization and dashboard development
• Report development
• Training
• Stakeholder engagement
• SAS and/or SQL programming
• Experience with healthcare data required.
