Video Surveillance​/Cisco Technician

Position: Video Surveillance / Cisco Technician
Our client is looking for a Video Surveillance/Cisco Technician to be responsible for facilities-based systems, including but not limited to, surveillance, door control, building automation, and telecommunication.
Tasks     
· This work includes all aspects of design, planning, installation, and support of the aforementioned systems, including supporting desktop PCs, servers, network devices, storage solutions, and surveillance-specific equipment.

· Install, configure, maintain, and monitor multiple state-wide networks, we filtering with Palo Altos and Zscaler, as well as mitigating issues as they arise. Responsible for extensive system documentation creation and updates.

· Provides documentation/project tracking and management reporting.

· Provides tactical and strategic input on overall systems planning and related projects. Surveillance, network, and server support capabilities with 10 or more years of experience in the field or in a related area.

· Work is performed at the agency's nearly 200 locations, state-wide, including the agency's many secure sites, often independently.

· Delegation and improvisational skills, creativity, adaptability, and strong troubleshooting skills required.

NOTE:

Candidate MUST be a WI resident within a one-hour commute to Madison, WI or willing to relocate within one-hour of Madison, WI prior to starting the role at their own expense. Hybrid Schedule at main office and other locations as needed.

Skills Required:

· 3 years - Cisco Networking Knowledge (Routers & Switches)

· 1 to 2 years - Web Filtering Knowledge (Palo Alto & Zscaler)

· 1 to 2 years - Video Surveillance Knowledge (Network/Server/Workstation)

· Associate's Degree or some college
Skills Desired – A plus to have:

· Door Controls Knowledge

· Building Automation Knowledge
