This work includes all aspects of design, planning, installation, and support of the aforementioned systems, including supporting desktop PCs, servers, network devices, storage solutions, and surveillance-specific equipment. Install, configure, maintain, and monitor multiple state-wide networks, as well as mitigating issues as they arise.
Responsible for extensive system documentation creation and updates.
Work is performed at the agency’s nearly 200 locations, state-wide, including the agency’s many secure sites, often independently.
Delegation and improvisational skills, creativity, adaptability, and strong troubleshooting skills required. Day travel also required, and long days are common.
Provides documentation/project tracking and management reporting.
