Video Surveillance​/Cisco Technician - DOC

Description

Our client is looking for a Video Surveillance/Cisco Technician to be responsible for facilities-based systems, including but not limited to, surveillance, door control, building automation, and telecommunication.

• This work includes all aspects of design, planning, installation, and support of the aforementioned systems, including supporting desktop PCs, servers, network devices, storage solutions, and surveillance-specific equipment.
• Install, configure, maintain, and monitor multiple state-wide networks, filtering with Palo Alto and Zscaler, as well as mitigating issues as they arise. Responsible for extensive system documentation creation and updates.
• Provides documentation/project tracking and management reporting.
• Provides tactical and strategic input on overall systems planning and related projects. Surveillance, network, and server support capabilities with 10 or more years of experience in the field or in a related area.
• Work is performed at the agency's nearly 200 locations, state-wide, including the agency's many secure sites, often independently. Delegation and improvisational skills, creativity, adaptability, and strong troubleshooting skills required.

Hybrid Schedule with WFH and on-location at prisons as needed. We can accept H1b, H4, TN and other valid work visas for IT. However we cannot accept OPT or CPT visas at this time.
