Company Overview
If you are passionate about water and technology, Trinnex is the place for you! Trinnex is a visionary company that is transforming the way water resources are managed and protected. By combining cutting‑edge digital technologies, such as sensor/IoT data, models, geospatial data, and AI/machine learning, we create innovative, smart, and scalable solutions that make a difference. Whether it's optimizing water supply and demand, detecting leaks and anomalies, or enhancing water quality and resilience, Trinnex delivers value and impact to public sector clients across the country.
Job DescriptionTrinnex builds and deploys digital products and advisory services that help infrastructure managers make better operational and capital decisions. We are looking for a Senior Manager, Digital Solutions Consulting, to lead AI and digital transformation engagements for utility clients — from early strategy and roadmap work through the design, deployment, and adoption of AI/ML, analytics, and digital twin solutions.
This is a client-facing role that combines technical depth with commercial judgment. You will advise utility executives, shape and scope new work, and own delivery on engagements that put Trinnex's products and data science capabilities into operational use. The Senior Manager, Digital Solutions Consulting carries broader responsibility for practice growth, account strategy, and mentoring.
Responsibilities- Serve as a trusted advisor to utility leadership on AI adoption, operational intelligence, asset management, and capital planning, including where AI is and is not the right tool.
- Lead digital transformation and AI strategy engagements end to end: discovery, roadmap, business case, solution design, deployment, and adoption.
- Design and deliver AI/ML, predictive analytics, and digital twin solutions that integrate operational, engineering, GIS, financial, and regulatory data into usable decision tools.
- Drive business development: identify opportunities, scope and price work, write proposals, and contribute to win strategy and pipeline growth.
- Establish AI governance and human-in-the-loop validation practices so that deployed models are accountable, explainable, and trusted by operators.
- Partner with Trinnex product and engineering teams to move client needs into the digital product suite and to feed delivery learnings back into the products.
- Mentor consulting and data science staff and help shape an efficient delivery model across advisory and execution teams.
- Represent Trinnex externally through publications, conference presentations, and industry committee participation.
- Bachelor's degree.
- 12 years of relevant experience with at least 4 years in a supervisory or leadership capacity.
- Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a college degree.
Domestic and/or international travel may be required. The frequency of travel is contingent on specific duties, responsibilities, and the essential functions of the position, which may vary depending on workload and project demands.
Preferred Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, data science, environmental or civil engineering, or a related discipline.
- Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in engineering, data science, or a related technical field.
- Deep domain knowledge of the water and wastewater sector, including utility operations, asset management, and regulatory drivers.
- Experience building or scaling a consulting practice or service line, with measurable commercial contribution (pipeline, revenue, or P&L).
- Hands‑on experience with digital twins, predictive ML for infrastructure risk or condition, process mining, or agentic/orchestrated AI workflows.
- Experience defining responsible AI and governance frameworks for deployed models.
- Established thought leadership: trade or technical publications, conference speaking (AWWA, WEF/WEAT, or regional water events), and committee involvement.
- Familiarity with utility data platforms such as Esri ArcGIS, AVEVA PI, Cityworks, Infor, IBM Maximo, or Oracle WACS.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or progress toward one is a plus but not required.
