Data Center Technician

Our client is seeking a Data Center Technician to join their team. As a Data Center Technician, you will be part of the Infrastructure Support Department supporting the Data Center Operations team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate problem‑solving skills, adaptability, and strong communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

• Duration: 12 Months with possible extension
• Pay Range: $19 /hr.
  
  - $22 /hr. on W2

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and decommission data center hardware and cabling infrastructure.
• Support rack installations, migrations, equipment moves, and deployments within the data center environment.
• Coordinate data center equipment intake, disposal, and inventory management processes.
• Monitor and maintain power distribution systems and physical infrastructure to ensure operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with facilities, security teams, vendors, and customers to support daily operations and project execution.

• At least 3 years of experience installing, decommissioning, and troubleshooting data center IT hardware and power/data cabling infrastructure.
• Experience working closely with facility maintenance, security staff, solution vendors, and customers in data center environments.
• Proficiency supporting data and power distribution, physical infrastructure, and network connectivity within enterprise data centers.
• Knowledge of asset inventory, equipment lifecycle management, and documentation practices.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems and asset management tools.
