Description
We are looking for an Intune Engineer for our TGS project with our client. We are helping them with their migration from Ivanti to Intune. This person will need to travel onsite to Madison, WI 3-4 times throughout the project to meet with the team (max DL of 75/hr with no travel expense, so please build that into their DL). I have received the below job description from our TGS practice:
- Architect and Deploy Intune Solutions:
Design and implement end to end Intune configurations for managing Windows, iOS, and Android devices, aligning with enterprise security and compliance standards. - Policy and Profile Management:
Create, test, and maintain device compliance policies, configuration policies, and conditional access policies to enforce corporate governance. - Automation and Scripting:
Develop Power Shell scripts and automation workflows to streamline device enrollment, policy deployment, and reporting. - Integration with Enterprise Systems:
Collaborate with infrastructure and security teams to integrate Intune with Azure AD, Microsoft Defender, Endpoint Analytics, and other enterprise tools. - Monitoring and Troubleshooting:
Monitor device health, policy compliance, and app deployment; investigate and resolve issues related to MDM operations. - Technical Leadership and Support:
Provide expert guidance to IT teams, contribute to documentation and best practices, and support end-user and administrator training initiatives.

- Define Intune workstation management architecture and enrollment strategy (Autopilot-based)
- Design user and device group-based targeting model (office vs. field users) and group-based targeting model
- Map legacy GPOs to Intune configuration policies, compliance policies, and security baselines
- Design Bit Locker encryption approach for new devices and lifecycle-based transition strategy
- Define application deployment model (up to 10 applications) using Intune policies and group membership
- Establish endpoint security design, including Defender integration, firewall policies, and ASR rules
- Define Windows Update and feature update management strategy
- Define up to (2) Autopilot Deployment Profiles, (5) Configuration Policies, (5) Compliance Policies, (5) Conditional Access Policies, (3) Windows Update Rings, (1) Feature Update Policy, (1 each) Antivirus, Firewall, ASR and EDR Policies
- Design reporting and monitoring approach using Log Analytics and Defender connectors
- Define pilot device requirements (up to 10)
- Configure up to (2) Autopilot Deployment Profiles, (5) Configuration Policies, (5) Compliance Policies, (5) Conditional Access Policies, (3) Windows Update Rings, (1) Feature Update Policy, (1 each) Antivirus, Firewall, ASR and EDR) Policies
- Implement Autopilot profiles for targeted device scenarios and user personas
- Configure application deployment for standard software sets
- Implement endpoint security configurations (Defender, firewall, ASR, EDR)
- Configure Bit Locker policies for Intune-managed devices
- Set up Windows Update rings and feature update controls
- Configure device and application reporting using Log Analytics
- Validate group targeting logic and policy assignment accuracy
- Perform internal configuration testing and issue remediation

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $75.00 - $75.00/hr.
