Business Analyst​/Consultant III

Job Title

This role is responsible for the following:

• Lead requirements elicitation efforts with a wide range of stakeholders, including analysis of business and user needs, documenting requirements, and revising existing system logic difficulties as necessary
• Formulate and define reporting scope and objectives through research and fact-finding combined with an understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements
• Work on tasks including project or functional requirements, testing, and process documentation
• Provides direction for the mapping of business processes using advanced process-mapping methodologies
• Makes recommendations in the selection of technology solutions to align with business strategies
• Assists in the identification, development, and facilitation of unit staff training opportunities
• Performs complex data analyses and reporting
• Serves as a project lead for lower-level IT staff providing guidance on specific project goals, outcomes, and technological components
• Serves as a subject matter expert to institutional and unit leadership on critical technology issues

Required skills:

• Experience working with an ERP system Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology, and/or Research Administration
• Experience in reporting, analytics, or business intelligence
• Experience gathering reporting requirements in a Workday ERP environment.
