This full-time permanent position is headquartered at the
Hill Farms State Office Building
on the nearwest side of Madison, WIand allows the option to work remotely up to 5 days per week. All employees are generally expected to be headquartered and work within the State of Wisconsin.

This position will be required to come into the office for training, meetings and/or operational needs. This topic will be discussed more at the time of the interview.

We are looking for an IT professional who can:

• Perform WisDOT production batch operations that implement, maintain, and support WisDOT’s diverse business systems/applications and their many integrated subsystems and datasets.
• Engage with WisDOT’s batch operations team to confirm proper job scheduling, sequencing, categorization, and troubleshooting to ensure successful batch job completion. This requires participating in the 24x7 batch support rotation.
• Provide consultation, training, and mentoring efforts to other IT platform subject matter experts and developers on various topics related to WisDOT production batch processes.
• Monitor results and ensure the validity of data obtained via WisDOT production batch processes, and the accurate and appropriate distribution of batch processing output.
• Effectively communicate with the Department of Administration (DOA) Division of Enterprise Technology (DET) regarding distributed production batch services and support.

This position is in schedule-range (07-33) with an annual salary of $79,040 - $112,320 (or $38 - $54 per hour), plus excellent benefits . A twelve-month probationary period is required. Pay for current state employees will be set in accordance with the Wisconsin State Compensation Plan.
