California Licensed Senior Litigation Associate

A company is looking for a Senior Litigation Associate to lead complex aviation and high-exposure tort defense matters.

Key Responsibilities Serve as lead or second-chair counsel on complex aviation and civil defense matters in federal and state courts Develop and execute case strategy, including early case assessment, motion planning, discovery strategy, and trial preparation Supervise, train, and review the work of junior associates and law clerks, ensuring high-quality work product and efficient case management Qualifications J.D. from an accredited law school Active California Bar membership (or eligibility to obtain promptly) 7+ years of civil defense litigation experience Demonstrated experience handling complex federal and state court litigation Experience in aviation, transportation, products liability, or catastrophic personal injury defense strongly preferred
