Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Trust and Estate Planning Associate with 1-4 years of relevant experience to join its Estate Planning Practice Group in Madison, Wisconsin. The associate will engage in a variety of estate planning and administration tasks, supporting high-net-worth individuals and business owners.

• Draft estate planning and business succession documents.
• Support tax planning analyses for income, gift, estate, and generation‑skipping transfers.
• Contribute to charitable planning and tax‑exempt organization matters.
• Participate in estate and trust administration, including probate proceedings.
• Assist in preparing and reviewing federal estate and gift tax filings.

• Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills.
• Detail‑oriented with the ability to manage multiple matters effectively.
• Foundational understanding of estate planning, trust and estate administration, and related tax concepts.
• Interest in developing a long‑term practice in estate planning.

JD from an ABA‑accredited law school.

Active member in good standing of the Bar where admitted to practice. Timely admission to the Wisconsin Bar required.
