DESCRIPTION:

Join Amazon's dynamic environment as a Senior Supply Chain Manager, where you will play a crucial role in shaping and optimizing various facets of our operations, concentrating on optimizing and managing the flow of goods, information, or services within the supply chain network. This role is primarily focused on S&OP planning for Shopbop and Zappos. Seeking a skilled professional to lead strategic initiatives and drive process improvements within S&OP.

As a strategic supply chain manager, you'll take end-to-end ownership of the S&OP cycle, emphasizing sales & operations planning, logistics optimization, network design, and analysis of operational efficiency.

In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Business, Operations, Supply Chain, Product, Finance, and more. Utilize your analytical prowess to identify opportunities for operational improvements, implement scalable systems, and drive automation to enhance efficiency, with a particular focus on optimizing the physical flow and operations within the supply chain network. Whether you're managing network capacity initiatives, overseeing cross-functional programs, or focusing on strategic projects, your impact will be visible, ongoing, and contribute directly to our commitment to being the most customer-centric company on earth.

Key job responsibilities

• Lead the weekly S&OP cycle, including demand planning and supply reviews.

• Lead strategic initiatives related to network capacity within Shopbop and Zappos.

• Concentrate on optimizing and managing the flow of goods, information, or services within the supply chain network.

• Balance supply and demand, assess and improve the efficiency of distribution networks, warehouses, or logistics operations.

• Analyze and synthesize data to identify opportunities for enhancing customer experience and operational efficiency in network capacity.

• Define metrics, develop program management mechanisms, and invent/simplify processes to drive decision-making in complex network capacity situations.

• Collaborate with stakeholders across different functions, influencing and facilitating agreements to achieve shared network capacity goals.

• Drive a portfolio of cross-functional programs related to network capacity, driving performance improvement and efficiency in project delivery.

• Identify and deliver operational improvement opportunities in network capacity, focusing on inventory management, logistics strategy, and transportation optimization.

About the team
You'll be joining the combined Operations and Supply Chain organization supporting both Zappos and Shopbop, working with stakeholders across both brands to drive business growth while maintaining distinct customer experiences. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- 5+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- 5+ years of managing stakeholders in cross-functional project experience
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field
- Experience in Excel (macros, index, conditional list, arrays, pivots, lookups), or experience building and managing financial models for business forecasting and problem solving

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- 8+ years of driving process improvements experience
- 8+ years of supply chain, forecasting, manufacturing, sourcing/procurement, or vendor management experience
- Master's degree in supply chain management, operations, engineering, analytics or related field

- Experience with in e-commerce or Retail fields
- Knowledge of fashion seasonality and trend forecasting
