The Stone Fabricator is responsible for safely and effectively operating power tools and hand tools specific to stone cutting and fabrication. This role requires the ability to work with templates for individual projects. The Stone Fabricator performs assigned tasks with situational awareness to minimize the risk of personal injury or property damage.

• Operate all assigned equipment (power tools and hand tools) in a safe and proficient manner in accordance with the company’s policies, procedures, and directives.
• Utilize templates provided by Management to ensure finished product meets specifications.
• Clean and maintain equipment as scheduled and/or required.
• Advise branch leadership of any requirements for equipment maintenance and/or repairs.

• Experience operating equipment such as power tools and hand tools
• Ability to read and work with templates
• Knowledge of proper safety and maintenance protocols for the equipment
• Must be able to frequently lift 50 pounds or more
• Must be capable of working in extreme weather conditions (heat, cold, snow, rain, etc.)
• Experience in stone cutting and fabrication is a plus
• Ability to read and write to record daily logs and maintain daily equipment checklists
• High school diploma or equivalent
