Facilities Maintenance Specialist

Our client, a leading global pharmaceutical manufacturing company, is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join their team. As a Facilities Maintenance Specialist, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting the Houston facilities team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical aptitude, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a proactive, safety-first mindset, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Specialist

Location: Madison, WI 53717

Pay Range: $25.12 – $29.13/hour

• Perform facility maintenance and repairs, including plumbing, carpentry, painting, basic electrical work, and emergency maintenance.
• Execute scheduled and unscheduled work orders while maintaining accurate documentation.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Conduct building and equipment repairs, including rigging, lifting, and moving machinery.
• Provide basic IT and network support, including hardware installation and cable setup.

• High school diploma or equivalent; trade school certification preferred.
• 2–5 years of experience in building or facilities maintenance.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills with basic electrical knowledge.
• Familiarity with GMP standards, safety protocols, and maintenance documentation systems.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or a green card holder.
