Assistant Electrical Project Manager

Key Responsibilities- Contact vendors to obtain materials for construction projects.
- Participate in bi-annual performance evaluation; conduct employee performance reviews; consult with Group or Project Manager to establish merit wage increases; maintain employee relations.
- Plan, organize, and staff electrical and/or specialty systems construction projects, ensuring profitability, timeliness and customer expectations.
- Attend weekly and monthly meetings (e.g., Staffing Meeting, PM Meeting, Sales Meeting).
- Process miscellaneous paperwork.
- Review outgoing estimates with Estimating Department to ensure accuracy.
- Visit job sites and interact with crew, customers, foreman and general contractors to monitor progress and support safe work practices.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or Electrical Engineering.
- 1‑2 years of experience in electrical construction, project management or a related field. Experience with electrical construction projects and knowledge of electrical components and applications is preferred.
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience is highly desirable.
- Proficient with PC and Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of Accubid and AutoCAD is preferred.
- Travel 25‑50%.
- Flexible work schedule; typical hours 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday‑Friday, with occasional work outside that range to meet business needs.
